Alexandra Dickson

PRINCIPAL & FOUNDER

Alex is a founder of ODE Studio. She brings three decades of experience across a broad range of building types in both design and management of award-winning projects across the country. Alex brings balance and cohesion to the design process through a balanced consideration of scale, massing, materials, cost, and constructability to enhance the design concept and meet the client’s goals.

Alex is a graduate of the University of Indiana and the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Alex founded ODE after working over a decade at David M Schwarz Architects, as well as WDG Architects, and Torti Gallas Partners.

Alex lives in downtown Washington, DC and in her free time can be found exploring historic towns on the east coast, camping in the Appalachians, and bicycling around town.
