Lester Escobal
AIA, NCARB
PRINCIPAL & FOUNDER
Lester is the founder of ODE Baltimore, P.C., and brings extensive experience in residential and mixed-use design. He is partner in charge of our public sector work and is known for his passion for ensuring and delivering a design solution from inception through construction, at all scales. He brings extensive experience in all aspects of project delivery, from idea generation and entitlement phase through construction administration.
His work spans thirty years and includes mixed-use neighborhoods, high density urban residential, public-sector recreation, and regional plans and codes across the US and abroad. He designs and manages projects for both public entities and private developers and enjoys the challenge of finding simple design solutions that integrate a complex set of seemingly competing issues into a cohesive vision.
Outside of the office, Lester is a devoted educator, serving as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland’s School of Architecture Planning and Preservation for over 20 years. When not at the office Lester can be found renovating his home, working on his garden, and travelling internationally.
